My Thoughts on Death Stranding [PC Version]

  This is the first game that was released after I bought my laptop that ran properly. I had tried Detroit: Become Human a while ago but it stuttered a lot. Death Stranding ran at a stable 40-50 FPS, and was a breeze compared to Detroit. I had seen a few gameplays and screenshots of this game, and it seemed to me that it was kind of a porter simulator, wherein I would be required to transport as much cargo as possible while scaling a rough terrain. That is just the tip of the iceberg, though. While Death Stranding is, in essence, just that – a porter simulator – its lore and story help it capitalise upon that root element. You do have to carry cargo, transport it to different places, complete orders, but this is just one gear in a huge machinery. Death Stranding is so much more than that, and delivering cargo is just a means to experience the bleak world that the game is set in.
